However, it is a brilliant, biting satire of the media's real power in modern society. Instead of going to overcome like the pathetic "Natural Born Killers", this film uses the dark comedy, brilliant performances, and a real thrill to create one of the most intelligent and powerful social commentaries to be seen in the film in years. If you're expecting a typical Hollywood thriller with a formula plot and a nice, clean, then stop him disappointed, but if you're looking for a smart, powerful movie with brilliant performances by Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta, then I recommend this movie. The film is smart, just because the discussion topics that can only lead to smart scenes. Probably the best thing about MAD city are the actors: Travolta and Hoffman are excellent in their roles and add an extra value to the film for the way they operate. What if you really need money to support his family and you just fired? To what extent are you able to go to his job again? Enough to go into a museum and the owner threatened with a gun? Without a doubt. But what happens if you accidentally do something that you can not leave? That is the situation of Travolta. What if your whole life you are destined for a great story that completely change everything about you? How far can you go? The plot grows quickly and is very convincing. And the end is the only possible one.
