| The first half was promising. They did a good job of creating the Rock as a man of integrity amidst a sea of moral sewage in his hometown. It has a nice family. He has good friends. I really did lok forward to what I knew would happen - would be beaten senseless, an accurate measure of painful revenge of his enemies, and go about cleaning up the place and setting things aright. My expectations were high. But then it becomes Sherriff. Must be something about the office because his moral compass appears to be just as screwed as everybody else. He hires a criminal as a Member (against the law), sleeps with his girlfriend in the office (which does not seem to mind she is a stripper while putting on his show for him in prison). That tramples the rights of people, plants evidence on suspects, intimidates through physical violence, etc. Of course I was trying to clean up the place, but I was hoping that with a proper measure of butt-kicking when necessary, he overcome evil with good. But he only knew how to fight evil with evil. The package turned seemed to be rushed, almost as unexpected events thrown into the inevitable winner take all clash with the bad. The Rock put in a good performance like most other actors but the script and direction were terrible after the midpoint of the film. I gave it a 3. |
| Compared to the Rochers the Scorpion King is acting better. This is not the best movie, but for action I would see him again. The Rock for his fight day is a good physical actor, like Stallone and Arnold. This is a duty, not many people can do physical exercise, and that is half of what makes a good action movie. This action movie with the kind of Cruel Intentions shows how horrible action movie with a good physical state to act. That the film had 1) very little believability. 2) the emotions of pain, physical stress, are not real 3) the action is wrong and misplaced. If people think Stallone did not take some real blows that were mistaken for Rocky, Rocky is released to the realism with which the physical realism. The party says it seems to me that the story good, but lower than the original. I like true storys better than fiction. Bad events as history shows that this really happens, I would bet this movie is going to be TBS 'Guy that films like' week. One thing I noticed in this film is the Rock seems to have a very good streak in him, I wonder if that's culture or more to do with the movie. 6 or 7 out of 10 depending on whether you've seen the original foot of height, the film becomes more credible if you see the original. |
| First let's talk about the inconsistencies in the movie. On the one hand, the sister of Rocks in the first one was a member of the police force, but after Rock took over as sheriff, who is suddenly excluded from the force. I guess this is because the rock shot the other idiots who were in collusion with the owner of the casino! But she does not know anything about this? I do not think that the whole film revolves around the Rock. With its credibility the movie would not have even been worth the rent. U Oh, and if you do not want to see the film and wants to know everything that happens to see the Trailer! On how the stripper and lover of rocks in the movie is really HOT! PS The movie is too short! |
| do not bother to see this. A). The package is diluted by "The Rock" in the sense that it is totally unrealistic, over the top to act, a smash um up in the best of the film. What is having former pro wrestlers like movie stars anyway? At least Hulk makes comedies that laugh in his previous career, so it's easy to laugh with him, but when a man takes on a whole state full of corrupt people, it's better to have more than a big stick. If you bought the CD, I'm sorry you lost your money, and if not, save your money and go find the original versions, as the right to act, and staying very close to how things actually took place, until the mystery in how they died Bufford. |
