I just finished watching this, 15 years later still comes out fresh. Great plot for a solid history. Not too complex, and thus maintains an advantage for an action movie without resorting to too great special effects. Also a good representative of the XER Gen, the first film to carry it extreme? Gary Busey has done a great job with his role, the supporting cast is solid - Anthony Keidis of RHCP terrain with a role as a punk surf. Nice return of Swayze for me, the first things he liked - Red Dawn, Outsiders, Youngblood, but Dirty Dancing and Roadhouse were terrible. I needed this movie as much as he needs. Keanu did not fare too badly either after this. After hiccups with Bill and Ted, followed by My Private Idaho, before increasing the game with speed and a few projects Wachowski brothers. Wow, all of Reeves' films, I've seen the breaking point. Great movie.

OK, sure it is just a big action movie with a script weak and crazy stunts, but .... is filmed so great. It feels so summer in the city of Cali. Makes you want to forget your work Zaa blah blah, go to the beach and surf AZZ his summer off and have campfire all night and part of the night. I have been reading other comments on why we can not understand the guilty pleasure about this film .... Duh that's the idea. Yes you can like movies that have to think about this and that in the end. You can have movies that will surprise you. And, of course, you can have movies that can make you feel like you had a great experience F'N. That is what this movie is. Eat your popcorn. Immerse yourself in it and have a great time. Who cares about the social impact. Enjoy it and think about it. Sex wax! If you are in the movie is a movie FUN! Holla
