Who votes on these ratings? "Jacknife" is a beautifully acted, brilliantly observed piece of work, with actors at the top of his game, especially Ed Harris and Robert DeNiro pair (please do not mention Marlon Brando in the same breath of this man-see "Taxi Driver "For confirmation of this point). Is it a "worldly" movie because you do not have sex / sense of action / nudity in it. This film is about the complexities of the characters involved. Ed Harris makes you feel every moment with him and his emotional toward the end is heartbreaking. The part where he orders a young man in a bar to remove their clothes to their army is a wonderful observation of how the fashion and film to exploit tragic situations and how they should feel real frustrated men to see a young upstart sporting military garb. While we are on this issue, "Casino" 7.8 out of 10? One of the greatest films of all time, from one of the greatest directors, starring the greatest actor of all time, with the scariest psychotic gangster movie ever, is justified only just above average? Come on !!!!!

Jacknife is a masterpiece of the 80's. It is a film that through breaths incredible performance and a very interesting contact address. In both lovers Jacknife of European and American film can find things that relate. The script is very convincing and full of wonderful characters. Ed Harris is giving one of the greatest performances to date. He represents his alcoholic hero doing great feel his heart broken in every line, every move. Robert De Niro makes us think once more about him as one of the greatest players of all time in one of the simplest but also more realistic performances in his career. Jacknife is never boring as their heroes to get clear of any typical Hollywood character of the typical elements. After the war is not a hero. Everyone is a loser, and this movie is about the simple truth. Nobody can arrange their pieces after a war, like the heroes of this film. Jacknife is about diseases of the soul that war creates. Simply magnificent film.

A cartoon in 3D offers more than just a different perspective graphically in a well-known, or at least little-known and widely recognized fable. Unfortunately for my taste, was not unstable on how the Happy Tree Friends and South Park is. It is more along the lines of Monsters, Inc. A child-friendly story with enough complexity and adult tissues of issues that parents were seen happily with his 8-year-old and 13 years of age do not complain that they were forced to come. And now you have some stunning 3D animation that rivals that of the type seen in computer games for his ability to feel the depth and dimension and make the situation more than the standard movies are capable of doing.

The graphics and voices are welcome. Danny Glover did a good job of a "slow" turtle drawl. Jay Leno is recognizable in the hare, of course. The story ends ... blah. I was really ready to fall asleep after the first 25 minutes or so. Must have been amusing. There was humor in it, but not enough. Is that if you just proving that what happens in the course of the race, and it was not exciting or interesting. Probably the funniest characters in the film are the two wives (Vivica A. Fox was the wife of turtle). I'm giving it a 6 out of 10. It is not terrible, but well worth seeing. Perhaps young children who really enjoy it ..?

I usually do not write reviews of movies, but I feel compelled to air my views on this movie. This film was boycotted by the majority of Canadians and only played in a few theaters in the province, out of respect for the French Mahoffy and families. As a Canadian who was irresponsible morbid curiosity to see this movie, I was dismayed not only by the graphic content, but most importantly, the inaccuracies in this whole movie. This film portrays Karla Holmolka as victims of a housewife, undergoing Spousal abuse chronicled her partner Paul Bernardo. However, it left many important facts with an example how they murdered his sister (cutting the tendons of his ankles so that he could not escape), so her husband repeatedly in the rape of his sister, and about him laughed with her husband. This was documented in all the court transcripts and video that was recorded during the killings that the film was not recognized. Karla was not a victim in these horrific murders and was much more a participant who later portrayed, so please understand that if you choose to see this movie.

Unfortunately, after all the publicity, the final product came out as a bad straight to DVD movie. The performance and the direction is horrible, and though I like it intends to, was miscast here. It looks nothing like the real Homolka (the type of game Bernardo seemed to him a lot, but could not act). The script is pretty bad, is another of those "tell stories and get flashbacks of what he just said" movies. Therefore, seeing her say 'I met with him at a dinner ", and then we see her meeting with him in the dining room. The pace is not a trait the director is familiar with. The rest of the cast is really bad in this movie. And unfortunately, this film looks more Homolka as a victim, who was not. She did get beaten by Bernardo here and there, but she was part of the murders as much as he is and deserves to rot in jail. This film does not give that impression, which is bad. I would love to see a real director like Fincher (who was with great Zodiac) to this story.

Anyone interested in true crime, drama, the story of Paul and Karla or just get the hell scared of you, you should check out this movie. Despite the frenzy of media was the case in Canada is not the same in the United States, the story of this couple is like the tagline to say, deeply disturbing. My wife and I saw this movie and I got scared as he was. We've talked about it for days and still controls the locks on the doors at night. This is a great movie, and I think the director did a fantastic job interpreting this story. I would call entertaining and informative. Laura and Misha should be applauded for there courage to take on the roles of these people really sick.

Currently, we have our fair share of useless actions films (absent of any decent plot and script) or films that are trying to take themselves too seriously or films that are too dark and downbeat or movies that try to be funny, but are not what was a pleasure to be with my family recently to see Last Holiday. Queen Latifah comfortably heads a cast that delivers solid, credible performances by the Board (and a few new faces to me). OK, the story was a bit contrived, and some sequences were a little far-fetched (the snow board ride, for example) but this is a lot of fun. The story, which hopes to people's aspirations and dreams and the need to take each day as it comes, to enjoy life to the full (as we do not know what is around the corner) was played with great passion and skill. Latifah comedy acting (being raised eyebrow and sideways glances) was relaxed and easily won the sympathy of the audience. Great, too, to see again Gerard Depardieu as I have not seen for awhile. Refreshing established in Prague snowy, good leadership and lovely cinematography. I recommend that you see.

You laugh, and are likely to mourn, and you could even call his mother. :) If you have a chance, go through the film a second time with Drew Barrymore excellent DVD commentary.

This is a strange concept for a movie - a movie about all the pins! Who would have thought you could make a decent comedy about bowling and who would have thought that it would be funny? In many ways, the rarity and irreverent style are very similar to the movie much later, the nights of Talladega - another "sport" that takes well to parody. This was a brilliant movie - probably not. However, in a low-front way, do not make you laugh and sometimes that is enough. It gets very high for bizarreness (like the fake hand and around the corner from Quaker), but also loses marks for, unfortunately, the loss of steam from time to time with needless plot. When the film tried to be helpful or not go for laughs, fell a bit flat.

how this movie can be rated any less than a ten is beyond me. the tragic character of Roy Munson is genius in itself, but the real star of this film is gold Ernie McCracken played by Bill Murray. a selfish, vengeful bowling champion who only ambitions are to bowl and pat! The film is chock full with gags and more importantly original. The film takes us through the turmoil of the young Roy Munson and her gift of God given (bowling) and hammers us with his sad demise. to find solace in alcohol ... and thus more alcohol until they hit the jackpot with the sound of a strike. Roy through the struggle to leave behind its troubled past returns to haunt him and the story becomes a value, friendship and extreme stupidity. the best point of sale i can give to people who have yet to fall is simply this, very rarely laugh out loud in a movie, but my sides were in agony after seeing this and I think that break in May something.

Kingpin, (despite what you may think) is an innovative comedy. Do not let the unpopularity of the population of recognition for this movie missguide you, is a truly hilarious movie. Woody Harrelson plays the ultimate downtime. A washing ex-professional player. A man of being an embarrassment. A man who does not float around its existence as a mortal wound to the dark and drink himself to death, which possibly do something of himself again. He encounters a dense Amish boy named Ishmael. Ismael is so stupid, so naive and forget what is happening around him - that makes it funny. Bill Murray seems to be in this twisted image - and all of their time Screen is absolutely beautiful. Kingpin is a piece of gold in the comedy, which many have overlooked ....

Kingpin is a movie that could not match the Farrelly Brothers masterpieces as dumb and Dumber and There's Something About Mary, but is approaching. The film stars Woody Harrelson as a once great champion of bowling that the race was ended by an injury to his hand so he should spend the rest of his life with a hook. But then he finds a new guy, Amish, but the pins promising type (Randy Quaid) and find hope for a new future. Sounds like the installation of a tawdry drama, but the Farrelly of evil does not become the delivery of large belly laughs for the overall scope of the film. Harrelson, Quaid and even the seductress Vanessa Angel (you might remember from your TV Weird Science) deliver good laughs, but it's two people who steal the show and make this movie absolutely hilarious Bill Murray, who gives new meaning to word comb-over, and Chris Elliot who gives one of the funniest moments in 90 comedy in a cameo. A

What was this strange comedy. Of course, this is not a shock given that has Woody Harrelson, Randy Quaid and starring Bill Murray. Now there is a stable, conservative trio! This reality has some very funny moments. At first I was afraid I was going to be too irreverent to the Amish - and no doubt that with the character of Quaid, which is made to look like a total dimwit, who has no knowledge of the Bible and was easily led - NO characteristics of an Amish person, but the film really is not mean-spirited and does not show respect for the Amish in a series of scenes. However, it's still a very sleazy film and the writers have not done any other non-Christian character. All the characters here, including the profanity that women play drive by Vanessa Angel (who?), Are fun to watch. Most egregious, in a minor role, is the owner of women must be seen to be believed. Players will especially like this movie because much of it revolves around that. A number of PBA members put cameo performances. A scene with a fake hand attached to the bowling ball, as the return of the ball rack almost had me in tears of laughter, for some reason. Murray to take the flamboyant player (and there have been a few over the years in the Pro Tour players) is hilarious. Crude, but a fun movie for the most part.

Kingpin is undoubtedly one of the funniest movies I've seen. The film was originally written by Mort Nathan and Barry Fanar (The Golden Girls). Farelly Brothers rewrote the original script. If not for her good casting and strange sense of humor this movie would probably not be as great as it is. Woody Harrelson plays Roy Munson, a talented player from Iowa in the late 1970s. He was enjoying life until after Hustling money with large ERN (Murray) caused him to lose his right arm. He leaves bowling until he meets Ishmael Boorg in a bowling alley. Later in the film Ismael believes that his family may lose their Amish farms - so it has no choice but to go to Reno with Roy and try to earn enough money to save his farm. If you have not seen this movie by all means to rent or buy by the case. The Farrely better.

Roy convinces Ishmael to let him be his trainer and he'll make him the best bowler the world has ever seen. Reluctantly Ismael agrees to go on the road and shortly afterwards actually finds that life outside the farm is quite fun. Soon their paths cross that of Ernie McCracken who is still top ranking bowler. While Roy's career and life have landed in the toilet bowl, Ernie is still drawing huge crowds and all the babes! They both square off for the untimate bowling championship ... to see which one truly IS the champion. To find that out you'll have to see this funny and original movie. Bill Murray is at his best, since Caddyshack. Randy Quaid makes some daring choices that really work and Woody Harrelson brings us the comdey style from 'Cheers' that made him a household name!

Some scientists working for the government of tampering with a DNA sequence was obtained from a message from outer space. The subject becomes an amazing little girl with superhuman powers. She escapes and becomes a beautiful woman (Natasha Herstridge) who wants to mate and produce others like her. A team headed by a director scientist (Ben Kingsley) to try to track her down. OK - that the kind of silly, but it moves quickly and is well done. There are many excellent, if horrible, special effects and the SIL creature in the end is really amazing. The script is good (considering) and that really makes sense ... if you do not think about it too much. Acting varies - Kingsley is terrible in his role. Michael Madsen is pretty good, as part of the team like Marg Helgenberger and (especially) Forest Whitaker. Herstridge is certainly beautiful, but can not act - but the paper does not call for action. I'm giving it an 8. It is not classic, but it moves quickly and never gets bored.

Not only that `s very predictable The plot is as follows: human egg is mixed with alien DNA that leads to the creation of a foreign girl, girl escaped abroad and a lot of types of spectrum to your game because the future of humanity is at stake. Think of a mixture of a megamix FOR ANDROMEDA, Frankenstein, The Quatermass Experiment, LIFEFORCE, THE X-FILES and a climax that tears away abroad and that "my idea. Or should it be that several other people ideas? Most of the players are trying to do his best with his sketchily written characters, and aside from Michael Madsen, who may well be doing their best, but the more movies I see in him the most obvious is that it lacks any Madsen range, and plays a government Hitman species, oh Gee `t expect anything to spoil not there. Without a doubt the best performance is by Michelle Williams, who plays the young Sil and manages to communicate the fear and suffering of hunting alien must be going through, for example, a pity that it becomes an actress no bimbo. On a really bad about this movie - with the exception of dialogue - is the CGI is really bad in some places like the tendrils emerging from the young Sil `s face, and that never rises above being mediocre in Best of. However, despite its many flaws species is an absolute masterpiece in comparison with the sequel

This was undoubtedly the best war movie I've seen. Movies such as Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, and Patton not only have the same feeling of excitement that I received while watching this movie. Not only were the scenes of intense action, the "between" the scenes do not lose any of the brilliance that could be seen for several of the epic battles. I felt empowered when Thomas became the first recruit of the 54th. I was excited watching the regiment of the destruction of the Confederates during the skirmish. Thomas I felt pain when he was shot for the first time. I was proud of Pvt. Trip when he was asked to be the flag bearer for the regiment. And I cried when the regiment was decimated during the Battle of Fort Wagner. This film sent me through a range of emotions that I could not help but love, and I am sure that nobody else who watches this film that feel the same

This film explores one of the African American contributions to the American Civil War, through the history of the 54th Regiment, an experimental fighting force led by Colonel Robert Shaw white. loosely based on Shaw real life, this movie creates a powerful context for exploring the racial politics, courage, dignity, hope, confidence and the cause of freedom in the late 19th century America. Not enough praise in the English language to express how I feel about this incredibly emotional and extraordinarily well-acted movie. There are also not enough awards from the academy, nor any other prize, giving glory to the recognition it deserves. This is a triumphant story of humanity and respect for each inhabitant of planet Earth could have important lessons. Everyone involved in this movie should be commended for helping to achieve this. The cast never my steps, and cinematography, screenplay and editing of the entire two-hour film by the floods as a river that still has not quite reached the sea. Heroes are not black and white heroes in this film. There is also a study of cowardice in its many forms, colors and shapes. And there is some redemption, hope and love running throughout the film that makes it has become a classic. There is no sense in the description of the plot. Suffice to say, the story brings tears to my eyes the whole time.

The history of the 54th. While I believe that manufacturers borrowed it a great freedom dramatic, this movie feels real and human. It's sentimental and sometimes corny, but for the most part this is a very powerful film that says something about duty, honor, equality and comradery. I still can not believe that Shaw had no resistance from within the regiment, or that the regiment was this obedient. But perhaps at different times ... And of course all the black soldiers of the 54 are still balanced, disciplined and willing to fight (with the exception of travel). No disgruntled, traumatized or even angry at the people who enslaved them or by age as they were. The scenes of battle are now a bit outdated (warmovies after 1989 raised the bar significantly), but they are powerful and do the job. However, the emotional burden comes from the actors (working from a script very good), although the film could have sunk if the dialogue was lower by actors. Even Elwes shows us that it can act. But of course Freeman and Washington to steal the film. Despite my criticism, looked at me with a constant knot in my throat. I've seen this movie several times and now still have the same impact it did when I saw him the first time. The definition of a classic: the glory.

Young Adam is a powerful and atmospheric drama set in the canals between Glasgow and Edinburgh during the 1950s. One of the best examples of this type of film is at the Sala de Arriba (1959). However, young Adam has existentialist shades: Joe is alienated and passive, and not only his many sexual couplings offer little pleasure, but to reject the only thing that could redeem him, was condemned to a life without meaning. This may sound too depressing, but the screenwriter and director David Mackenzie's film gives great depth and sensuality. Very interesting. ****/***** Stars.

I am not surprised that this film has not become a darling of the viewing audience this time. It offers hard opinions, views this moment in fact, seen through the mists of history. The source novel is in post-World War II in Scotland. Joe, the anti-hero is a young man of his time. He is motivated by personal freedom, as he perceived, at any cost. He has sex always easily accessible; moves when it is not. He prefers to witness the death of other people who face their own responsibility for them. He is a coward, as it drifts from a barge transaction to transaction. He only feels safe when you're on the move. The film is all mood. There is cluttering the dialogue. It is visual, the ticket for his message to a visual age. The performances are uniformly strong. McGregor continues to stretch her range. Swinton is immersed in his character. Les Mullan is complex and believable. McKenzie of the direction is masterful. Creates a universe as a whole and draws the viewer in. If you're tired of reality TV and explosions, go see this movie.

Although THE SLEEPING DICTIONARY that is not well known and never had a theatrical release, which is by far one of the best films of 2002. My sister had to persuade me to first rent and then see this movie because the idea of a colonial British officer who falls in love with what is known as a dictionary of sleep ... who is a native woman who sleeps with a man while he was teaching the native language. Jessica Alba, who is best known for its passage in "DARK ANGEL", deftly portrays Selima, the native of sleep dictionary John Truscott. Hugh Dancy, who portrays John Truscott, is a young British actor who is in his path. Dancy and Alba have chemistry, and that can hardly take your eyes off them. The supporting cast is also excellent. Brenda Blethyn, Bob Hoskins, Emily Mortimer, Noah Taylor, Junix Inocian, and Eugene Salleh each portray their parts perfectly and add a unique flavor to the movie. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being lowest, 10 highest), Type I DICTIONARY OF REST A 10.

I just saw this movie at the IFC. And it was a pleasant surprise when I began to see that. However, as progress was made, I just Boggle in the execution. First, the commendable performance of Jessica Alba. I'm from Singapore, and the setting is close to my heart. To an American, who has finally convinced me that it was local. His accent is weak, but again, what is the right accent? But I believe that the role played well. Other actors, however, is very flat. No ups no downs. Secondly, for the genre and setting, this movie can be much more. The script is very flat, the maximum levels are not high enough, and the low grip is not enough. I do not feel for the characters, and I do not care what this British couple is going through. Thirdly, I could not tell you that this takes place in the Malay archipelago until they told me well in the film. Just seems so contrive, by the lack of a better word. I should be angry, I feel sad, I feel that this is the most unjust world to live, yet ... All I could see is Jessica Alba doing a great job. I wish someone would write this script, and add to this story, removing the trash that is totally unnecessary and magical as this, since it potentially could be.

This was an excellent movie and brought a lot of memories of my time with people who were in Sarawak. Costumes, people, the landscape ... All these are worth watching the movie even without a good plot. There are some moments in the price includes a conversation with the chef about drunkenness and wages and the relationship between young people and English people who were supposed to be governing. The Iban have a well-developed sense of humor. In general, the plot is welcome. I'm not a fan of romance, but this was well done and gave a glimpse of a people that are still largely the same until today (minus the head real game). If you've ever dreamed of an adventure in Borneo, the first watch ... that will convince you of the beauty and the need to go.

There is a second of screen time wasted in telling the story of the Star of Rhodesia diamond that is stolen on board an express train - and, of course, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson and Lestrade Insepctor are all aboard train, after being informed that someone is going to make an attempt to steal it. This low-budget Universal entry is easily one of the best features of the Universal co-starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. Bruce is especially funny as he decides to do some research himself, with amusing red herrings that you astray. Rathbone is completely smooth and relaxed as Holmes, snappy less than usual in how it treats Watson and more enjoyable in the role he has been in other entries. The plot abounds in the usual assortment of suspects personalities, but of all the players MOBRAY ALAN is the one that stands out as the man who befriends Watson. Despite the low budget ornaments and excessive display of thumbnails to a train racing through the fog of the night, the story is tense and the whole matter is intriguing enough to keep you watching until the end of the unusual - if that a double twist is completely unexpected. Holmes very nice adventure, and rhythm and entertaining.

Movie attendance in the late 1930's and 40's thought this team of players who perform exactly how Sherlock Holmes is supposed to be in real life. Basil Rathbone (Sherlock Holmes), "The Black Cat ','41 always gave an excellent performance and appearance added greatly to its role as the famous detective of English London, England. Nigel Bruce (Dr. John H. Watson) "The corn is green ','45 played the companion of Holmes and seems, at times, goofy. This whole film is about a long train journey, and the functioning of the compartments and even looking in a coffin. Alan Mowbray, (Maj.Duncan-Bleek), "I wake up screaming,"'41 was a great supporting role and Dr. Watson keeps busy playing Gin Rummy during the "Lionel train," Black & White! Skelton Knaggs, (Sands ), "Bedlam",'46, put her ugly face in the plot and as always gave a great supporting role. If you love Holmes Classic Films and a veteran of these great players, this is just one of the great films of Rathbone Bruce and appear on!

Slight spoilers ahead *** *** At night terror is a movie that I've seen four times, now that I have it on DVD. One thing I'm learning from my growing DVD collection and it is this: Always see a movie twice before writing a review of it! Night of terror directed by Roy William Neill is one example. This film is more impressive with each. I look at my comments on the terror at night after viewing the first time and I cringe! Through the night terror does not impress me much the first time I saw him. It seemed to be a predictable and boring tale of murder on a train made without much suspense, action or character development. As I said before, see a movie twice before writing a review of it. At night terror is growing on me. It's more interesting every time I see and I am glad that I have in my DVD collection. The mood is great. The idea on the behavior and actions of the characters after the film displays increases. I agree with another reviewer who noted that the film is better to a second window. The completion and the solution of the crime is surprising thus increasing the watchability of terror at night I become more familiar with the film. I am beginning to appreciate the performances of the actors and the director of competition At night the terror seems like I would like to see a movie only once, when I saw him for the first time. It has now become a movie I hope to see again and understand the affection of other reviewers have the quality of the Basil Rathbone / Nigel Bruce Sherlock Holmes entry.

This Basil Rathbone, Sherlock Holmes adventure involves a lot of suspects in a train, each searching for culprits that the viewer is really hesitant to blame it tries to steal a valuable diamond, "The Star of Rhodesia." With all of these suspects (who are fun to see), there are a number of turns every five minutes to guess all of us. There is a lot of action, but only enough to keep things lively. What is really appreciates the fine transfer from the UCLA 35 mm "restored" process team did in this record. It looks very good. Speaking of looks, there is a very attractive woman on board, Rene Godfrey, but she must have come as part of the saw because she is not much of an actress. It did not matter, did not have a lot of lines. The wrap at the end was a bit fast, but overall I have no complaints about this entry Holmes. I'd like to see him several times and always enjoy it.

Or so the trailer of terror of the night was also "a thrill of a mile to 90 miles per hour." I absolutely loved this movie! I can not wait to see the second! I suppose that its just my type of movie. D and I loved the special features! Especially "Scottys blog Expose" It's funny. I liked a little better then the movie ... No jk. It is no fear at all ... but then again nothing really scares me. His illness was a movie! I love movies like that! His was one of the ending that makes you know that there will be a second. But it leaves you confused. I hate that! Lol I'm really excited to see what happened to Nicole and Jess ... and the twins sexy ... I hope to look even better! Lol. I am sure that I am going to first as a well-best. I hope not to spoil anything for anyone. Enjoy the movie

* * Minor damage It's a shame to see the current state of horror movies ... only useless garbage on graphic images of people cruelly tortured to death. Once upon a time, films such as blood and BLOODSUCKING FIESTA freaks at least shocking, but today everything is, as usual (a disturbing thought, really, but unless rant for another time) Enter rest ... an ambitious indie film in the above category, but not a particularly good one, in which runaway and her lover meet their grisly fate in a roadside toilet. I sat in front of this movie fully expecting to laugh at him and almost never given the opportunity: despite the opening, with David Schwimmer 'Friends-operation "is pretty horrible. You sense there is more of everything but when you are Heche asked to wear something special and their evil thoughts are quickly usurped by a ring. Nice stage script and I was seeing ... The meat of the film focuses on the growing love between the unlikely couple of castaway Ford and Heche. I mean, this movie has no pretensions beyond being a full-loved SNOg up in the back of the flea sky of late, so you get flirting almost from the time of his accident. However, a mixture of shots competent in a wonderful place and great acting that Ford either accompanied by Heche (which not only attractive, but the game, revealing the use of costume and everything having to refer to his own chest as "small "More than once) makes sexy and credible. Chuck in some authentic pirate contemporaries - I am also a little tickled by the fact that the Star Wars prequels' Boba Fett is chasing after some IV, V and VI of Han Solo! - Reitman and intelligent decision to avoid a tie-ups (eg, How Heche down the island of white water Ford found so difficult? Before I saw Six Days Seven Nights (which was given to me by a friend to see) i was expecting a delay and i really mediocre film.Well seen and it is neither of those things that I thought would be, but instead is something very nice and funny romantic comedy.Everyone was very good Harrison Ford and Anne Heche takes the two partners and it was a little weird, but it carries the movie and how much fun watch.Though there were some things that was a bit out there and some things that really unoriginal i still found that this is a fun film.Overall ID say, this movie is worth seeing, but do not take it so seriously, because its not, but its very funny. 7.6 out of 10 stars

There was a lot to like about this movie. The landscape, (Hawaii, not Obradors), it was fantastic. He was excellent. While the plot held no surprises, (once you understand the premise of the movie, you know where it goes, but in the case of this movie, it was fun to find out how to get there), it was interesting. The gags are pretty funny (especially when Heche character of the demonstration of its inability to cope in situations where there are no subways and cell phones.). The film showed the range of Ford and Heche. We could have done the same for Schwimmer and Obradors, if that had significant roles. Since I have never seen a single episode of "Friends" (I know, I must be the only person in the world that has no), I can not compare Schwimmer acting in this film with his role in "Friends." His acting in this film does not compare to his role as Lieutenant / Captain Sobel in "Band of Brothers." Based on this role and "Band of Brothers" seems to prove that Schwimmer has a lot of variety and can play different roles very well. Schwimmer seems to be typecast inept as the "loser" who tries hard and always comes second in the final. Unfortunately, he and Obradors appears to be limited to supporting, rather than starring roles. Therefore, if you're looking for a light, fun way to spend an evening watching this movie.

Francis Veber, you know? He is one of the most popular French film-maker. He owes his success thanks to a comic that he knows the secret. It is the confrontation of two individuals who have a different provision, but are forced to live together in a hostile environment. This situation is told in a tone of comedy Telling Harrison Ford and Anne Heche's adventures, Ivan Reitman must have been influenced by Francis Veber 'method. Here, a bold confidence and Harrison Ford is mixed with a coward Anne Heche. After dragging the beginning, the movie becomes lively and rhythmic when our two heroes are on the island. It contains good and funny moments, especially when the characters are having an argument. However, it follows a predictable step: First, Ford and Heche can not stand it, but little by little, get to know each other better. The main reason why this movie is watchable is the performance of Harrison Ford. It demonstrates once again what a great player he is. Even on lighter fare is a dominant presence on the screen. David Schwimmer and Ann Heche also provide excellent results. There is a part of the movie where it could have become another sweep, but fortunately the story takes a turn more original. A remake of the sweep was enough. The film contains beautiful landscape highlights, but that looks can be deceptive and that what looks like a paradise it can also be a prison from which there is no escape.

Six Days Seven Nights is another of the many movies out there that does not make claims about containing something special or different from others. Ivan Reitman has created a niche in telling the history of Hollywood, he knows the deal. You get attractive leads. You make a situation in which are placed on an island and through urgent need to work together. It is very normal things. But Reitman fill any vacuum in which you can with comedy and that is purely success and forget about how he feels about it. Robin, and recently hired on vacation, seeking help from Quinn, who seeks solitude and the simple life after a world of hurt. Quinn flew to their holiday destination, but for several hundred dollars more, she enlists their help to fly to Tahiti for a quick allocation of its job of your question. A storm of casualties on a remote island and are stuck with each other. How Ford and Heche work on screen is as important for a film that commands, but the story is so because the number, you can find wondering when the couple had just been cut to the persecution and get off the island. The most interesting story, with Angelica and Frank, played well nice. But the whole story is too Cheesy times. That fickle moral of love and do the best, once again, is played so unrealistic, however, so obvious.

HILARIOUS !!!!!!!!!! I was overwhelmed with how wonderful this movie became be.Although I did not care for romance sub-plots and sometimes I felt as though there was nothing important or interesting happens, I thought that comedy was outstanding! Anne Heche is what this movie really spark, and although Harrison Ford was funny himself as well, Anne Heche is all good comedies parts.The helicopter scene made me burst into laughter, and the scene where he opens the lifeboat was the most fun of all the scenes in it! Six Days Seven Nights was a really good movie, and I while I strongly disagree with the characterization, because I think it is a little underrated, this film is filled with funniness anyway! I have loved this movie for a long time and I will continue loving it.This was one of the most hilarious adventure / romance / comedy movies I've seen in my life!

I've seen this movie 5 times and I can not get enough, if you like space stories, then this is your best option. Fill with drama, real action and touch the hearts of Space Cowboys is one of the best works of Mr. Eastwood film carrier. I really enjoyed the other "space" recently released movies, but there is something about the casting of "Clint, Tommy Lee, Donald and James" who has made this movie much more touching. The other thing that was interesting for me was elected after professions Dadelus was scratched. Preacher of a roller Coaster Designer and everything in-between, quite a surprise. I have to say that this was a great sight for me and mine ... we need more "old" film actor ... Of course, these guys are still just as sexy as ever were ...

This was a very enjoyable tale of "Things are ripe," four old geezers going up in space to help save a project that had a part in years ago. It is quite long at 130 minutes, but the four different characters to help maintain their interest. Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, James Garner and Donald Sutherland are a good quartet. Marcia Gay Harden Add to the mix, along with Loren Dean, Courtney Vance and James Cromwell and has a terrific cast. This is a tragedy, but one in which there is a fair amount of comedy and some romance. There are some cliches of Hollywood (a pattern suspicious, arguing that goes back and forth friends all the time, a weak minister, etc.) but are not as blatant as usual. The story is pretty good, but the real show here is not the story, but this group of veteran players. A joke was overplayed: Sutherland and the size of the genitals. No real things, but with class, in general, the film is fine. Definitely a rental at least.

I realize that this is not a movie for everyone. However, it is a tremendous balance and is an excellent movie. The pace is good. There's a lot of humor. They are not technical flaws, but few who did not notice a technical person. It builds character well and I grew to care for them. It does not hurt that the film is full of big Hollywood, adding to the nastalgia of the film. But he also spoke of dreams and realities, about life. Elements of the film were also quite predictabe, however this does not detract from the overall feel of the film. Therefore, this is not rocket science deep, is not going into deep philosophical or social issues, but I do not like watching movies for that. There are a lot of news if you really need. I see movies to be entertained and maybe a step in my everyday life for a while and this movie did pretty well. Probably in my top ten.

OK, first things first, everything seemed just not true, was the most pointless movie I've had to do, there was no history of the barley line and the main character expects about 40 at the start anyway, then wen was changed to seek more. u could hardly notice the difference, I saw this movie 4 times because I thought I might have to get something that only I was not to produce, the last time I saw a friend and was sitting there like: why are we seeing errrrr S This .. and then dawned on me ... I really do not know why I would like to see once let alone four times .. This probably will not be useful, but all I'm trying to say is. Not seeing, not the waist of time, not worth it. You could do a better movie in your head.

It's good to know that Jonathan Brandis and Janet Leigh in the final of the films are available for its many fans. Both players had talent. Janet's long career strewn with the jewel of his stellar talents. Jonathan and the brilliant work, tragically short, a loss to the film community. Final artist of many films are not always what we call the best examples of their craft. But the fact that two years after his death, that the public still wants to see their work should mean a lot to his family. I had the pleasure of knowing Jonathan for a brief period in the 90s and was the most charming and welcoming of people. ~ Jonathan thank you for all your gifts that has left us. ~ ~ Janet --- You sure could scream!

After two actresses that I think are really good - Monica Keenan ( "Dawsons Creek," "Freddy vs. Jason") and Nicole Bilderbeck ( "Clueless" and "bring it on") intrigues me to see this film - besides that appeared in the style of the fantastic "Mean Girls". Instead, the film was a bit disappointed, though there were some good moments. For a movie that I wanted to be serious in terms of plot, there are too many stupid quips all comedians and all for me to take seriously, even from the beginning. I love expensive (d) Mr. Show with Bob and David, and I forget, but the first sight of John Ennis as a security guard automatically to this movie difficult to take seriously. From there, the film was splattered with quips, wisecracks, and other comedians like Dat Phan, Sherri Shepherd, etc along the way. This film had no chance for me to be dramatically involved with the plot because of the people chosen and the Way too frivolous for dialogue. It could have been a good movie with different options, but I gave it up in about 30 minutes before it ended. INDIVIDUAL SPOILER: I also did not like that in any way, Bassing Kim is portrayed as a kind of genius of electrical wiring along the phone ... scene that really bothered me.

The film is entertaining in general, if you do not mind the logic. I forgot if LA or anywhere else. People have no desire to contact the police (with the exception of the small initial attempt), they want to do all the work themselves. Why not? Everyone is trained as James Bond, half the police force are thieves, bandits never practice shooting, and leave their car keys for their hostages to escape. We understand that films are never true stories, but still human beings with a logical mind, who can not swallow anything and everything that the Director gave us! One thing that kept me watching is perhaps Jessical Biel, looking beautiful, almost as beautiful as the young Basinger.

My husband and I saw this movie last night, and were extremely pleased with him. The film begins with an explosion immediately and kept going! We found well-written, well acted and well directed. It is very exciting and suspenseful. I thought the actor's characters are on the right goal - self-centered young, the frantic and distraught mother, tired of the police in hopes of a retirement that is not so sure he wants, and the bad - Whoo boy! In this movie, the ill are redeemable without any kind of characteristics - the type that you want to beat the tar! Speaking of beating the tar someone, wait until you get a dose of attorney - egads. The film is fast plenary with a dull moment. The action scenes were great, and the construction of the tense moments was very well done. Drama, suspense and with a touch of comedy - what else is looking at a movie?

Not that this movie will change the world or anything, but as far as movies go, you could do a lot worse, and probably have. What sets this picture apart from other action / stories of police corruption is that while the story is sufficiently far-fetched to be basically unbelievable, and the characters are skin deep, which has a certain self - Sustainable entertainment value that rises and falls, but through in those clutch moments just when you're wondering if all this is just a waste of time. The sunny LA adjustments, the Santa Monica Pier, the bikinis, the young characters, William Macy, etc. .. keep it moving along, but the real force behind all this is the mood of current cell phone technology on which the film takes, and the idea that developed over about the link and communications technology complete strangers in the basic plot about police corruption and the Rodney King-style video filmed by a witness at random to a brutal and deadly encounter with the police some LA gang members. That's quite a bit of ground, and everything ends in a big stage under the pier in the dappled light of a storage shed with surfboards and other water-related issues on the seeding. It's good to see Larry Cohen, the name of the writing credits, and once I watch the film, his touch, though you may not have known it was there, obviously.

This movie was horrible. the parties were especially overacted Kim Basinger's character, who initially was thought about the whole thing because she seemed so false that I thought she should play for Ryan. Also the character and the situations are so cliché that I want to scream. but I did see the movie until the end, mainly because I thought I had to be a great twist ending lined up to do for the rest of the film. unfortunately there was not. although the most frustrating thing about this movie was all the add-on that made the damn phone. "can remember the last 50 callers," "can take excellent video", "oh, do not you like my new phone impressive. overall this film is basically only two hours a lengthy commercial Nokia cell phones.

Here is a movie named after the computer literate users who know how to break into other computers. There is not much to say about this movie other is horrible. It has some of the dumbest characters who never get to see, and I believe we should be good, but if I ever met in real life I would try to stay as far away from them as I could. Fisher Stevens plays a terrible wrong, it looked like the biggest hero of the film. I suppose it is a villain because you do not want to break these children in its database business. Of all the characters was the only one who came close to making sense, but to be honest, I could care less about any of these characters. This film does not do the same thing that other films have done with computer issues. Instead of saying, "Revenge of the Nerds" this movie does not follow the mold of the image of their characters technically gifted as "nerds". Instead, it made them see as manic. A terrible movie.

First, this was a sad attempt at a movie! There was no plot in particular! And if you want to make a good techno-movie, try something like Goldeneye or Tomorow never dies. "Legend" (1985) has to be one of the greatest fantasy films I've ever seen. It's better than "Willow" (1988) I do not like that much. Ridley Scott is the talent of blowing the minds only. He knows how to make a movie from scratch. After watching Alien, Blade Runner, Black Rain, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and, finally, Legend, I have seen how this great man is his vision and his style of cinema. When I first heard of the film, I did not even know Tom Cruise was in it. The score composed by Tangerine Dream fits perfectly the movie and helps tell the story. Ridley Scott's brother, Tony Scott has also made great movies: Top Gun, Beverly Hills Cop II and True Romance. The makeup effects are brilliant at the moment. Tim Curry reincarnation of Satan is quite disturbing and it plays a brilliant performance that is unforgettable. "Legend" is a movie that you can not miss the opportunity so if you see it anywhere on DVD, buy, and you will not regret it.

The 80s were a time when the genre became the most conventional fantasy. Dragon Slayer, History, Legend and Willow to name only a few opened the flood gates to a long list of clones of fantasy and animations. The legend was up there with the best of them. The basic story revolves around the basic story of good vs. evil, the loss of innocence and the manifestation of this evil from the Lord of Darkness himself. There was no cgi as it was the early eighties and that gives the film a very authentic feel. All the cast give good results, but Tim Curry steals the show as the Lord of Darkness. I do not think that his character could be anywhere near as scary if it was made with CGI. The score by Tangerine Dream (Scott, which is also used in Blade Runner) completes the experience and gives you all the dream as a quality almost like his dream of seeing a display on the screen. It is used a lot of car depreciation humor to lighten the mood for the young target audience was originally intended a. Unfortunately this does not always work and diminishes the experience a little escapist fantasy. Like Scotts Bladerunner masterpiece, see the two versions (There a lot of extra footage in the directors CUT) to fully appreciate this little gem.

If you see this movie, and you should see the directors not to cut the film version. But if you just saw with an open, and a little romance, mind, we have to sweep out only for a while ...

What I loved most about this movie is that it belongs to a middle ground. What I mean by this is that while the effects, sets and visuals of the era were outstanding, the film is meant not only to attract anyone. It is not a family film that claims feelings and thoughts (except the good vs evil), but that branches out in most reaches wild imagination. This is a "sect" because its movie screen is fantastic. The themes are simple. Good versus evil, hero and villain, a world of fantasy, true love. But what the director is achieved deeper, more disturbing, dark, and so much more pleasing to the eye then you might expect from a 'fairytale'. Even when scenes are bright and cheerful, that the sense of how fragile and how deadly are the characters. And when the scenes are dark and evil, can not protect your eyes or feel scared. You are prepared and can not look away. Is that these effects plays with the mind of exactly how a fantasy. You should be left in fear and confusion, and even more curious. The actors were great (Cruise, unfortunately, is my least favorite choice, and Tim Curry and the boy who played the Forest Sprite is the best way). Costumes, makeup, and are excellent overall. One of my "must see" for those who not only love 'cult' movies, but the love we feel for the film to be a part of it, and that inspired the left.
