| Having seen many Tarzan movies over the years, I think Greystoke, one of the best, if not the best. It's played with all the emotions. Christopher Lambert of the image of Tarzan has been excellent. I have never read the book Borough, but this adaptation should, in the least, that any DivX film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes that Johnny Weismueller Tarzan Lex Barker or played in shame. I saw this DVD film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes at least 5 times and see that over and over again. |
| Once past the first concept of the probable actual events in history, you'll enjoy this DivX film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes more. I've seen this DVD film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes several times and still enjoy it. While I believe that a mediocre actor Christopher Lambert in the majority of his films, I think that shines here (a good idea to give the floor in his native French accent, intelligently written into the script through the browser thinks he) instead of making him put in a strange accent, and works well. Ian Holm and Ralph Richardson are fantastic and moving, but McDowell loot again and most of his scenes are irritating to see. Some of this film: Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes was actually quite disturbing (taxidermy laboratories and the scene where the ape / father was shot), but very well done. The scenery is fantastic, and the musical score is brilliant and stirring. Great makeup effects of its day. This DivX Movie Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes is well worth seeing, give him a chance, you may be pleasantly surprised! |
| I have not seen all the Tarzan movies, so I can not say if this is the best, but I've seen enough to know it's one of the best. To start with just all these ridiculously elaborate plot that the Adventure curse Jock Mahoney and Gordon Scott Tarzan tickets, and returned to the base of the original ERBurroughs book, focusing on the life of a shipwrecked boy who grows between ape and begins to act and eat like them. In the second half of the picture, Tarzan is raised (as personified by Christopher Lambert, which is suitable for this role) and is living with monkeys by some European explorers. To bring it back to Victorian England, where he meets his royal family and was educated to join the "civilized" society in which we should have grown if it had not been shipwrecked all those years ago. In an ironic touch, which reports that "civilized" people are actually more barbaric that their monkey family, and finally back to where it really belongs. The hearings seem divided on this. Some love it, others hate it. My opinion is that it is mainly a very good film, well done and photographed, with an interesting and convincing the majority of the script. I agree with other reviewers who have pointed out that certain scenes are a touch unintentionally funny, but apart from this movie: Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes rank pretty high. |

The DVD film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes was slow? It was not. If it were, there would be sent back to Amazon.Com. All actions of Tarzan in the DivX Movie Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes had to take place. Like the love scene. You want to be stupid to believe that Tarzan would become a Romeo and only make love with Jane .. .. duh that half ape people! If you're in the mood for a nice movie, not listen to the no-brainers, see it, you'll love Greystoke! I saw for the first time in the theaters when I was 11 and I loved it then and I still love it now. All actors in the DVD movie Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes did a great job .. of the jungle scenes are beautiful, and the original score is a masterpiece. 9 out of 10 |
| Greystoke is undoubtedly the best Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes movie I have ever seen Tarzan. Christopher Lambert displays a very credible man trying to return to the world of humanity along with the great Ian Holm. John's struggle to leave the jungle and monkeys which has raised is enough turmoil. Some very memorable scenes Lambert even when noise from the jungle to the romantic interest, and the scene where witnesses of his monkey father's death. Tarzans feelings of both worlds is well developed and really makes you feel for him. An excellent and underrated film. |

The lady is pregnant, and gives birth to a son in their tree house. Soon after, a family of apes stumble across the house and in the ensuing panic, both parents are killed. A female ape takes the tiny boy as a replacement for her own dead infant, and raises him as her son. Twenty years later, Captaine Phillippe D'Arnot discovers the man who thinks he is an ape. Evidence in the tree house leads him to believe that he is the direct descendant of the Earl of Greystoke, and thus takes it upon himself to return the man to civilization.
