| Can not find one word to describe my feelings at this incredible film, I mean, Gus Van Sant is an expert in this type of movie, obviously, Pharmacy Cowboy! This time, the camera becomes a drug addict with a hustler. Probably he is good at choosing the right actor to act the role, makes Mike Waters River Phoenix alive, not a role, but River is Mike! You can feel Mike's empty loneliness through Rio de facial expression and gestures. Imagine if your dad is your brother, your mother is mentally ill, what can you do? Mike does not abandon his dream of finding her mother. Each time, the hope he brings a place to meet with her, however, all you get is frustration. Mike is a tragic symbol! He falls in love with Scott, a type that grows in a rich, well-cultivated family and teenage rebels in their time. Does it mean that you can fool around Mike Scott? Deeply hurt the heart of Mike? I can not say if the love of Mike Scott did it or not, is too cruel to dump Mike flies in Italy and the U.S. Call your bride! | My Private Idaho is a moving film: My Own Private Idaho about two friends, Mike Waters (River Phoenix) and Scott Favor (Keanu Reeves) who live their lives very low Hustlers street. The two are on a quest to find Mikes mother who had abandoned as a child. Mike is a narcoleptic that causes some problems throughout the film. Scott is the son of the mayor make a statement with their own thing until he inherits his father's fortune. This DivX Movie My Own Private Idaho was truly one of my favorite opening my mind to a world I never knew the truth about. The movie: My Own Private Idaho is so realistic that honestly believe that their pain, especially microphone that is looking for anything or anywhere you can call home. All very well-written script by the talented Gus Van Sant, who also directed the film: My Own Private Idaho gives a certain atmosphere and a strong sympathy for the men to earn a living in a very low point. Aside from lifestyle to live, to have sex for money, Mike understands the meaning of true love as it develops very thing for his best friend and companion. The ending leaves you MOPI op a bittersweet but also leaves room for continued microphone imagine how his life after the credits begin to role. This picture is honestly the most interesting and fascinating that I have ever seen. How do you feel that a lot of solidarity (on microphone), but is also a very clever side of his humor and the whole film. I know that anyone can enjoy a My Own Private Idaho movie so strange yet creative. |
| This is the My Own Private Idaho film that River Phoenix hope to be long remembered. His performance as the confused and narcoleptic street hustler Mike is so perfect and realistic and touching that makes me mourn all the time. In Gus Van Sant films often have a strange aura about them (see Drugstore Cowboy, to die for) and has never been more evident than in this "road movie" strangely affecting / drama. The camera-long horizon horizons covering roads and fast-moving clouds, surreal and symbolic shots of homes and rivers are in the My Own Private Idaho Drama with a stranger from another world almost charming. Interspersed with the harsh reality of life on the streets of Portland Oregon, in the early 90's, and (yet unknown) of Shakespeare. Some of the plots (and Bob Scott, mainly) is based on Shakespeare's play Henry IV (with Keanu Reeves playing the character of Prince Hal Scott, William Richert and play the role of Falstaff as "King-Of-The-Streets "Bob.) It is a fascinating, moving and highly successful mix of styles in general. The big issues (the search for love and belonging) are transmitted in a really interesting and timely move. In particular, enjoy poignancy and symbolism of the My Own Private Idaho movie suggests flittingly. The performances are uniformly excellent, and this DVD movie My Own Private Idaho remains one of my favorites of all time. One of the biggest (and most unusual) indie films of the 1990s. |
