The warning is the same for all * Very loosely, a young woman begins to have stigmata (you know, the wounds that appear out of nowhere to imitating Jesus on the cross). Normally, for a Christian to be a sign of God ... but it turns out that this woman is an atheist. Now that the stranger. Therefore, this priest trying to do research, as in some of Agatha Christie's novel to find out what's happening and try to stop him before he is dead. When I saw this was very promising. It was a kind of supernatural thriller mixed with the things I found interesting. But after a while the Stigmata movie was going too slow for my taste. I admit that I do not remember the end of the film: Stigmata ... I just grew bored of it. This is the typical Vatican conspiracy in all these movies religious, so I do not see anything new in that department. But that's why we see these religious movies, right? Except if you are a believer, of course. An interesting Stigmata Fantasy film to watch, but only the first part ... the second, it is best to look for someone to tell you about the end. |
| This DVD movie Stigmata clearly deserves more than the current 6 / 10 rating it has received, however, one should expect a low rating, when people feel so threatened by the ideas behind this movie. (as evidenced by the many votes of outlier 1 & 2) If you enjoyed The Da Vinci Code (book), then I truly believe that to enjoy this movie. This Stigmata film brings together three qualities: a thought provoking nature with a "truth" behind it, the actors / actresses who can not be the best, but they all have together some of the best performances here, and a successful implementation, which allows it to be entertaining. My rating 9 / 10 may seem high when this DivX Movie Stigmata takes a single issue, but that is one of many angles entertains its value rises. |
| I was raised Catholic, and the stigma was not discussed in Sunday School. So when I saw this movie: Stigmata moved me enough to learn about this "phenomenon". After watching the film, however, I was completely taken by the subject. I like the way the DivX film Stigmata portrays an Atheist receive the wounds of Christ's death as the only recorded Stigmatics are religious believers. I thought we had a very interesting plot that keeps my attention easily. Frankie continues disbelief after receiving the first two injuries, although it is questionable, because for me it would be only one to convince me. Besides I did not like the relationship between Frankie and Andrew, as the priests did do wrong. Moreover the Stigmata Fantasy movie would not have been so good with the tension, I suppose, between Frankie and Andrew. This is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. |
| I admit this film: Stigmata really questions the moral Catholic, but thats not what your ... the movie: Stigmata was to show a different view on a catholosism and therefore should not be seen by Catholics who are not in that sort of thing. His strange, but for some reason a book about the universe and someone who knows everything about the universe is written only by bystanders and spectators. The people who made the DVD film Stigmata not saying we did or did not happen, but it is possible that these viewers might have made a mistake about how Jesus and God wants us to be. This whole DivX Movie Stigmata is not trying to make you think more deeply about religion, and I am delighted by that. If your like me you would really like "Dogma" too;) |
| Seeing it again, and walked the dog on a break. I had a thought and returned to continue and to IMDb. Stunned by Matt (Canada), a comment that if there was merit to this thought, too Dogma desired. Yes, the same thought. It is a great cast. Patricia and Gabriel are excellent, but the agents of surveillance. Jonathan Pryce is always good, and Rade Serbedzija (who had to beat!) Is the atmosphere. Dogma stigmas and have the same underlying thought that religion may not be as organized as believers think that is good, just keeping Stigmata to a more traditional format - nods to the exorcist, and so on. Come - Alanis Morissette as God. One of the films I will see again and again, however. Happy viewing. |
| I recently saw the movie: Stigmata and stigmas that was very bad. Was neither fear nor dramatic. It was not even interesting. My personal theory that the main problem with the movie: Stigmata that was intelligent and advanced ideas about religion, theology, spirituality, and man's relationship with God and with treaties that these important ideas in a child taudry way. The large images and several MTV-style editing does not mix well with the subject. What is worse is that the DVD movie Stigmata is very boring. It is also fragmented and there is little in the way of narrative direction. Watching stigma was a very bad experience and I have told all my friends what I'm saying now ... Stigmas not see! If you want to go to the movies this weekend I would recommend Stir of Echoes. |

Meanwhile, a young woman in the U.S. begins to show signs of stigmata, the wounds of Christ. The priest from the Vatican links up with her and cares for her as she is increasingly afflicted by the stigmata. Her ranting and raving finally begins to make sense to the priest who starts to question what his religion has stood for for the last 1900 years.
