| This is an elegant film. All the elements seem to have combined to give a distinctive look. The soundtrack is excellent and perfectly complements the story, it's almost like a part of history. All performances are excellent, but special mention must go to the great Wesley Snipes and Judd Nelson / Ice T double act. Well the plot does not really tax your brain, but if you're a fan of gangster movies or want a bit of mindless entertainment, then do not go wrong with this movie. |
| Through it draws heavily on gangster films such as "Scarface." New Jack City is a good New Jack City film that shows (without preaching) the dangers of drug and people who use it for their own profit. The DivX Movie New Jack City revolves around Nino Brown, a boss who rises to power with his band for the capitalization of the drug of choice (at the time) of crack cocaine. Coming soon is a great empire known as the CMB. A police officer (Mario Van Peoples) is assigned to take to do this so that a special unit comprising Scotty Appleton (Ice-T) and Nick Peretti (Judd Nelson). The unit is capable of reducing the Board that was crumbling due to the power mad Brown, through Nino is not punishable by law, which fulfills its purpose. The New Jack City movie is a very fast rate (from 1986-89 'only in the first thirty minutes). Through its stereotypes are obvious (in particular the Italian Nino gangsters crossings). It's a good movie. Who has a good rhythm to it, and is probably one of the best out of urban gangster genre early 90s. |
| This film, released in 1991, perhaps contributed to the fearsome political police state atmosphere that fueled the misbegotten "war on drugs", and has jailed many people it was (and is) supposed to help. Whether to make a New Jack City film about drug gangs, joining gangs, create characters, and try to make more of an obvious morality story. However, New Jack City has a lot of imagination and energy to it, especially a terrible and chilling on the opening of a bridge over the East River, and then a great persecution from the police seqence distributor and Ice T Chris Rock, who in a BMX bike, taking it down several stairs. Moreover, there is an interesting clash between gangs and mafia organization Snipes Italian, which, unfortunately, not a sufficient basis for the film. |

Brown sees potential in crack and sets out to establish himself as chief kingpin by killing off his rivals and even going as far as to take over a whole apartment complex. Out to stop him are undercover cops Scottie Appleton and Nick Paretti. Appleton especially wants to get Nino because of the fact that he murdered Scottie's mother as part of a gang initiaton. Also involved is Pookie, a former crackhead who wants to bring down Nino as well.
