| Direct-to-video third installment of the species, has more foreigners with mating and the destruction of the unwary humans in blood and mud cube fashion. This time a foreigner's name SARA that the offspring of Eve (Natasha Henstridge, back in a cameo) is the center of the story, in which a college student must help a professor studying the creatures. Lots of blood and piles of mud not to mention a pile of naked, if it please the fans of the first two movies. But then again, if you are not exactly crazy in the first two, then you probably do not like this. The DVD movie Species III lacks the polished look of the previous two and there is little characters of the story. Much of the DivX film Species III is spent at home or scientists at the university. The special effects are good, including several murders out gross. Robin Tunney appeared towards the end of the film, but in all honesty, it was really only in the DVD film Species III just so the Species III Sci-Fi could reach a slam bang ending with two female aliens duking out in a plant science. The low-budget entry in the series, played more like the direct-to-video B-movies, you can find in many of those who languish on the shelf, which is at the local video store. The lack of well-known characters and actors, not to mention the story that explains why this went straight to video. But if you're a fan of the series to verify that you will not be disappointed! *** (Star) |
| While being transported in a military ambulance and supposedly killed, Eve (Natasha Henstridge) offers an offspring and is killed by half race. The girl is kidnapped by Dr. Abbot (Robert Knepper), and a couple of days later, she grows, reaching adulthood and become a beautiful young woman named Sara (Sunny Mabrey). Dr Abad hopes to develop a perfect DNA using eggs from Sara and win the Nobel Prize, and invites students Dean (Robin Dunne) to be his assistant and share their research and future awards. However, while Sara unsuccessfully pursued a perfect mate for her to create a perfect, imperfect half the races led by Amelia (Amelia Cooke) try to play with it to survive its kind. "Species III" has a history imperfect, but it is very attractive and gore, mainly because of the beauty of Sunny Mabrey. This unknown actress has a good performance in the role of an intelligent foreigner with no feelings, and body sculpture, one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, just to make this film: Species III worthwhile. Natasha Henstridge has a brief part in the initial sequence, Robert Knepper has a good performance in the role of an obsessed scientist, and Robin Dunne rejected the irresistible invitation of Sara "for the exchange of services" and complete the reasonable distribution of this entertaining movie. | Do not let the other critics fool you, Species III is a very entertaining entry in the series of species, the fact is a direct video, but with MGM backups of this facility with Brad Turner on the head, which is I knew very well. Natasha Henstridge briefly reprises his role as "Eve" to the number of species and gives birth to another alien Sara, which is the last genetic abroad. This time, though we have an excellent sidestory about the halfbreeds, half human, half alien freaks who do not bother or in the classroom and die of the disease. Well, a couple of the most dangerous new environment of farmers go out to search for Sara, in the hope of using their eggs to breed a new race. He is very good, the DVD film Species III has some impressive effects and the DivX film Species III just like the other two sequels is very scary and bloody. The Special Edition DVD comes with four short films, which includes interviews with the cast and crew including the beautiful Natasha Henstridge, commentary and a look back at why the number of species has been so successful. Regarding the list of complaints the only reason that some people think that's because they do not like is because Henstridge is not that much, Newsflash people. The role of Natasha is basically a cameo appearance. Its also funny how people bash the character Sara still in the comparison there is no difference between Eva, Sara Sil and others that the differences in age. The three characters seduce and kill their human hosts and unleashing chaos and violence wherever they go. Species III is a keeper see the DVD. |
| I have no idea why it receives so few stars. This is really a very good film, much better than the second of the series. What's wrong with that? Well, do not go after the goriness of the 'species' life cycle more blatant and explicit that makes the first. And some of the effects of fire are clearly second-class compared with the first movie. Of course, they show more of foreigners in a present, and do it with less budget. That said, the story here is quite good and interesting, and girls playing aliens look great (when is not going abroad ... um). What more could you really ask for a sequel? |
| I loved the first two films of species, and kind of disappointed to learn that Natasha Henstridge would not be playing the female lead in this, the third installment of the series.My doubts disappeared immediately after seeing Sunny Mabrey as Sara. Sara is the daughter of Eve, raised by the scientist Dr.Abbot home.As in nature is, she broke free of their shackles and a consequent spilling of blood and gore makes for a very entertaining science fiction movie, but it is a little low key with regard to the special effects are concerned. However, I believe that without a strong lead character, films like these, whether as a search for the second rate porn, or plain ridiculous.Sunny Mabrey as Sara makes sure that none of that happens. She is gorgeous and has the aspect that you believe she really is the eve of the offspring. Although I realized their lack of histrionic skills, I could not help but be taken by its strong presence on the screen. Robin Dunne as Dean not to impress, and Robert Knepper as Dr.Abbot is not too good either. Mabrey is the presence of which makes the Species III Sci-Fi film a treatment. |
| Yes I agree this Species III film was not genius, but a person who does not tear apart the films often have to say it was a good movie. You do not have the style of the original movie, but in my opinion is much better than the second. I do not think that the DivX film Species III was intended to be a blockbuster, but rather a DVD movie Species III for people who enjoy the first 2 movies. I did not even see a trailer for this DivX film Species III anywhere, I did not know it existed until I saw that in the video store to rent. I think it was done for more than a cult like. Yes there are a lot of unanswered questions, but who cares. The DivX Movie Species III was fun, with lots of action and a lot of nudity free for those who, like him. Nastasha Henstridge only wish there were more than one function. |
