| Gremlins 2 has a range greater than the first film. Takes place in Manhattan and covers much more than the original. The main difference is that Gremlins 2 is a kind of parody of the first. With frequent references to it (including by Leonard Maltin at one point) and only 2 characters (or 3 if you include Gizmo) is really not the full story, but Gremlins used to laugh at the beginning of the 90 major cities culture. There are a gazillion in dozens of jokes and cameos all over the place. Including Jerry Goldsmith that the music is even better in this Gremlins 2: The New Batch movie than the first. It is a bit cool and catchy theme. I love it. The Gremlins seem cute and funny in this. Gremlin is my FAVE Lucas, is insane. The other main ones are George (the frowner), Lenny (the fool) and Mohawk (the one with the Mohawk eh ...). And of course there Gizmo. I wish so much that Mogwai were real because he is so cute and adorable. Rent a Gremlins 2: The New Batch Horror film or catch it on television. If you wait for the DVD release of Warner. The opportunity for extras and invention is endless. One last thing. Stay with this Gremlins 2: The New Batch Horror film until the end of the credits. |
| "Gremlins 2: The New Batch" 1990 is the sequel to 1984 box-office success "Gremlins", which is one of my favorite movies of all time. The sequel is not as good as the original, but that is not bad either. Here the filmmakers did something different. They tried to make this a more of a comedy than the original. The first DivX Movie Gremlins 2: The New Batch was fun, but also fear. "Gremlins 2" plays more like a Mel Brooks-type films with some of the jokes that are in it. But his only fear. Moreover, it is a bit boring seeing the Gremlins do some of the same things they did the first time, such as drinking, smoking, etc. However, this is mostly an entertaining DVD film Gremlins 2: The New Batch that I had done better in the desired box office. I think if there had been three years after the original instead of six years, would have done better. Between the two "Gremlins" movies are all ripoffs ( "Critters," "Ghoulies" and its sequels) and in 1990 became tired of all cinema.
