| I am really surprised that there is next to no comments on this excellent thriller. ITV has at present many times, but I have captured only now after reading a secondhand copy of the novel. This thriller concerns the inequality between men and women in employment brighter, the cliché that shows the attitudes of the so-called friends and colleagues. this movie is a real morale which rises from a Blockbuster that is intended to be. The plight of men against women corporate megalomaniac boss seems fairly hopeless against the political correctness of the'90s, but it is also painfully realistic sample of what a unphilanthropic, sometimes complicated world this is. Especially in the increasingly dominant world of business, lost the simple human empathy is a reaction against that of other more often selfish concerns. Michael Douglas as Tom was excellent, although the performance of Meredith was sometimes a bit cliche, but this of course is what is meant to be. All-in-all a very enjoyable, exciting thriller with all the plots that usually only a novel can make the adjustment, the exploration of a real problem that other contemporary thriller typically leave blank. |
| This has a cast of first-class, great plot and is definitely worth an 8 rating. Michael Douglas is his usual mysterious self, Demi Moore is excellent as a manipulatrix and Donald Sutherland is once again the dark master. There are some interesting things about the technologies actually a 1994 film in general is good entertainment. |
| This film may not be exactly a thriller, but is approaching. Michael Douglas gives one of his best performances here as a man who is seduced by her boss (Demi Moore is hotter than hell) and her claim for sexual harassment. Good dialogue (by author Michael Chricton) and good performances make this watchable, and the plot is also unwise. Dennis Miller has a small role as a co-worker. A -- |
| I was very surprised that nobody else has commented on this movie. It is one of the best adaptations of books Crichton (although it varies a lot from the book) and deals with an interesting (if not important) issue. He's good. The film has serious, comedy, and other aspects (including computer and some technical things). It is not quite a movie, but it was well received and is at least above average. In addition, it has the look and feel of a good movie (not a waste of money). |
