| Wonderful movie. Reese Witherspoon is charming and credible as a smart, no-nonsense medical resident who is facing his own mortality in the most unusual and puzzling way. Mark Ruffalo is proving to be a leader romantic wonderful man - and fortunately not one of those actors which snobbish view this type of vehicle as beneath them. He is an incredible actor who seems to be at home in a variety of genres. The city of San Francisco never looked better. The photography is fabulous, with the city almost seems from another world (appropriate to the movie!). These two players, Reese and Mark, have demonstrated a wonderful chemistry. A very, very nice movie. More please! |
| My 15-Goth myself relying daughter walked through the room of Elizabeth David faces for the first time. She eyes on the screen, dismissed it as "another of his mother in the romantic comedy" then did a double take when Elizabeth did something only a ghost can do. Next thing you know, she is firmly ensconced on the sofa, enjoying the movie. This is a delightful movie, and arrived just the right balance of odd / spirit / other worldliness to capture the heart of my daughter and me. Reese has earned its place at the top of the power structure of Hollywood, and offers in this film. Mark Ruffalo continually surprises me with its depth, and I really loved this movie. I especially liked his character arc, as demonstrated both the depth of his despair, and manages to grow out of it. I dreamed that just as the garden. Wonderful movie! |
| What can I say ... as cynical as it seems to me that most of the time, I am a son of a good romantic comedy. If you build it I will come! A GOOD romantic comedy that counts. This genre is not my strong, most of the time but I hate these movies is no exception, as I said earlier. All im saying is that if you have to do a romantic comedy guys ... This is at least better than most. His cute and silly, dramatic and romantic more important, but ... w / o feeling so forced as many of these films. But I am a bit biased as I absolutely love Reese Witherspoon. Seriously, though if your video store and you want to get this lady happy new year filim ... could only dig too! |
| Reese Witherspoon is a delight, like Mark Ruffalo. Their onscreen chemistry is fantastic. My gentleman friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. There is some "blooper" we are in, however. There is a native San Franciscan value of salt that never NEVER refers to our beloved city as "Frisco", as was painted on the side of a pickup towards the end of the film. A little thing, but anyone writing a script centered in San Francisco, as it was, would do well to take note of that fact. Otherwise, it was a couple of hours well spent. Thanks to the writers, cast and crew to put its best foot forward and that this together! |
| I just finished watching this movie and it is impressive. I could not even pause for a second to get a drink! This film is so different and that really draws in. I liked all the acting and the plot can not be improved. I can not recommend this movie enough if you like a heart warming romantic story with a twist. The landscape in San Francisco is also beautiful. I guess that the film has a somewhat slow start and not quite sure where it's going, but it quickly picks up speed. It's also nice to see a film in which he did not know exactly what will happen. Even movie really caught my boyfriend watching picky. I bought this movie before I saw him, and I'm happy because I will definitely see again! |

When her sister with two kids set her up on a date, she gets into a tragic car crash and gets in a coma.
