Ordinary Decent Criminal Michael just loves taking the law into his own hands! Genres: Comedy, Crime Year: 2000 IMDB Rating: 6.30 IMDB Votes: 4722 Versions: divx, ipod Actors: Spacey, Kevin, McSorley, Gerard, Fiorentino, Linda, , Malahide, Patrick, Hayman, David, Mullan, Peter, |
The film itself is a bit of laughter. The part where Stevie regrets over his poverty-stricken child hood is very funny. Fair enough on foreign actors such as Spacey's accent and Baxendale are useless, but at the end of the day of its no big deal. Siochanna police are also a wild laugh with them after Spacey through giving Dublin a long stick. This film can not be taken seriously and was never intended to be. If you want the true story of Michael Cahill, go and see "General" if you want to see a crowd of cowboys through Dublin Rampaging make a mockery of the police after Siochanna see this movie. Overall a good laugh, but not for a "serious viewers." |
This seems like a remake of "The General" by John Boorman film about the life of Martin Cahill. The plot is almost identical, only the General appears to have had a touch more attractive to it, and it was a good bit of fun. Brendan Gleeson cracks me in a way that Kevin Spacey could not do - Brendan audience just say "bite" for the assassination is enough to define a giggling .... |
