| I was watching "I Love the 90s" on VH1. They mentioned "True Romance" and this film seemed so fresh, has been stuck in my head. I went to my local Blockbuster, and guess what? They do not have! (That was a very sad moment for me, because this movie just could not get out of my head. Then, finally, I discovered another Blockbuster that carried it! Yay! I loved "True Romance." This film has the most All large cast I've seen in a while. Christian Slater, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, etc. Amazing. They all had these cool parts that made them their's. Basically, Christain Slater and Patricia Arquette with this kind of twisted, but sweet romance. When they marry one another, Christain Slater tries to Patricia of things, but it ends with more than half a million dollars of coke Scarface would say "wow! That's a lot of coke." All her life take a big turn for the worse. The story is unforgettable and discourse between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper, I never forget it. That was one of the best speeches in film history. I recommend this movie to anyone! I'm going to buy it now! I'm not kidding, folks. This is a terrible movie! Please also must work to achieve this principle in the 250. 10/10 |
| Cynical, seen-it-all smart-ass before I am, I can not help but love 'True Romance'! On paper it looks like a sure fire recipe for disaster. A typical hip pop-culture saturated with Quentin Tarantino script schlockmeister directed by Tony Scott, the man responsible for stale Simpson / Bruckheimer "blockbusters" like "Top Gun" and "Days of Thunder." But some how it really works! The film is especially helped by a cast of dynamite, one of the most impressive in many years. Julian Schnabel just possibly underestimated the biopic "Basquiat" can rival its mix of power and the star of cult faves. Slater, Arquette, Walken, Hopper, Oldman, Kilmer, Penn, Sizemore, Jackson, Rapaport, Gandolfini, Argo, Corrigan, etc etc. These are many of the best actors working today. Add a love story to electrical leakage, jam packed with fun, very quotable dialogue and plenty of action and laughs, and you have a really entertaining update of a classic 70s-in movie. "True Romance" is a wild ride that you can not miss! |
| Dear President-wing critics, History is not a bad yarn, I really enjoy, especially Patricia Arquette performance .. and not their erotic kiss goodbye to his dad in the new law, I did WinCE with shame, their food will also meet with the henchman in the Motel, while the groom was receiving Pizza Wow ... that girl has no balls. I had to talk about the 2 scenes, in my opinion worth mentioning. Of the 10 definitely a good 6! |
| Sorry guys ... who do not get much better than this. TRUE ROMANCE is one of the coolest movies ever made. The cast, acting, plot, cinematography - everything is just dead ... Clarence and Alabama are a couple o 'newly-wed who is accidentally walked with a suitcase full of Alabama in the ex-pimp of the coup. Well, actually it was not his right, which actually belonged to some cats mafia and now want their sh! Not again ... Clarence and Alabama to the whole of LA to try to get rid of the coca, while unknowingly been tailed by the mafia children. Things get hairy when the police get involved and just sorta all hits the fan "from there ... I can not praise enough TRUE ROMANCE. It's really one of my all-time favorite movies and definitely should be considered a MUST SEE for anyone who likes a good action / comedy / drama. As written by Tarantino, we hope that the prerequisite violence and cursing obsessive ... but this is by far my favorite film of which he had anything to do with. The cast is just a who's who: Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Tom Sizemore, Michael Rappaport, James Gandolfini, Chris Penn, Balki from Perfect Strangers, Brad Pitt, and of course the legends themselves - Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper - who share a scene that I swear to God is one of the best in the history of cinema. If you have not seen this movie, however, you should feel empty and hollow inside ... GRAB THIS ONE GO IMMEDIATELY! My main recommendations for TRUE ROMANCE ---10/10 (and I do not give much these ...) |
