| I thought that special effects are better in the episode where Homer Simpson steps on a butterfly in the prehistoric age ... Special Effects-bad, even by Sci-Fi Channel standards. Idea of a subtle change in the past as a result of altering the future of the world was great (all credit goes to Ray, although there). But why should it take the time to wave 'to make the changes occur? You might think the main characters to come back to this to see civilization in ruins, no changes which would be slower due to the changes. I often laughed out loud at the 'scientific' jargon. Make sure the power is out throughout the city, we're going to go to college and the use of its "particle accelerator" that now fueled by a back-up generator. Many more, like that ... | Until I read about disasters associated with "a sound of thunder," he was going to call the cheesiest DVD movie Sound of Thunder, A in recent history. Adapted from Ray Bradbury sci-fi story about time travel suffered the great floods of 2002 in Prague and the lack of money that delayed its release for 2 years. The characters who hire Ed Burns to take them back in time to hunt dinosaurs often overacting; all parts function as clearly scene breakers or time wasters, which ended up giving nothing dramatic flow of logic and sequence. I can not find anything good to say other than the butterfly effect is a good premise that it will not be heard in this vehicle. The idea that the evolution of one minute, even part of the story affect all subsequent history is well worth exploring. A Sound of Thunder is a groan, and should be sent back in time to el'50 's, where the poor production values were valued in B movies. In this Sound of Thunder, A Action there is not a satire of the genre, something that suggests the filmmakers were not even making fun of themselves |
| Well, there are many other comments out there that hit the nail on the head I do not need to add to them.But .... I have read this book in the school 20 years ago and was hugely waiting to see this movie. It's a disaster .. things.The so many terrible effects are laughable and yes ... at one point, even if you do not see it ... only know they are walking on a treadmill .. honest! If "I have seen the movie, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.As for the token black dudes scene talking to him ... What the hell was that? And Ben Kingsley was not the brilliant actor in this ... Are just people saying that because he has a rep.He as Tosh be just like the rest ... just doing this to buy new picadillo wallpaper for your home or whatever. That said, I have a 2.When something that you need to spend 90 minutes or so, and a physical beating is the alternative ... you can see this. |
