| I did not have high expectations going into this: B-litter title of the film, the poor man's style of lead actor Bruce Willis, the dodgy effects, but it could have been part of the charm of it. I love B-movies. I really. Sometimes the story (and, in particular, to science fiction) is good enough to redeem matters. But not here. Some of the acting is truly terrible - the male leadership is painfully average, but with the notable exception of Alexis Thorpe, still manages to turn in the best performance ... Mr Valentine is the disappearance, as others have said, unintentionally hilarious and is the only reason we can see from all this scum anymore. The plot is a lame Matrix scam with nothing even remotely original about it. A particular highlight is the scene where Kyla is placed in a cell at the prison and escapes quickly within 20 seconds that whole sequence completely redundant. And that is quite what it really ... avoid. |
| This film has all the characteristics to be a terrible movies for the months of the year. It is a mixture of superficial story dramatization with the poor, very poor that provides cheap and CGI (computer generated imagery). Choose to see, because I saw the poster on a website, but I needed only three minutes to realize that it was a waste of time, I agreed to go with him because he was a lazy rainy Sunday night. | This movie sucks, but Alexis Thorpe is fantastic! The Sci - fi base is weak. Imagine in the Middle Ages, a group of rebels led by a woman tried to rise against the tyrannical rule and somehow a brave knight (our hero is a police employee now) joined them. It makes no difference, except laser weapons are used in this film. Not every successful science fiction, the film is based on the visual effects cheap, but most importantly, the parcel must make sense and enlighten our vision. | This has to be one of the most disappointing films in recent history. And I just finished watching License for Wednesday. The basic notion is quite intriguing: people living in a dystopic future, but the "man" keeps it hidden from them using chips implanted in their brains. Our hero is a stand-up, police officer-class man who, for reasons quite clear, decides to join a rag-tag group of rebels (by the group I refer to one or two) devoted to showing the world the truth. But that does not even live up to a Sci-Fi Channel original movie, but was slightly better than a zombie movie made by children in a trailer park your weekend ... and Transmorphers. He was as good as one might expect, given the wooden dialogue, bad management and the snail-pace editing. No, this is not true. He also was pretty bad. The music sounded like something from a 80-half of the video game. This looks more like someone from proof of concept for a film of the film itself. If I had a chip implanted in my brain I program to remind myself to do something nice for the last hour and a half of my life. Avoid at all costs. |
