| For me, this has to be one of the greatest biography films of all time. All the scenes in this film is superbly directed and acted. The story is told really nice and I think the film is a good lesson about the great man for the life of any person not already on it, and also for people who know little about him. Besides, people like Howard Cosell and others have been portrayed bright, very fine detail. I also think that Will Smith's Oscar worthy performance is the only one worth seeing this film again and again. Also, if you're a fan of boxing you will like the struggles that appear in this film, because they have become more realistic then other boxing movies as the great "Rocky" series. My message is for everyone, whether or not you like Muhammed Ali boxing or just simply have to watch this movie. |
| I like the story of the great boxer Mohammed Ali in the 20th century who introduced to the audience in the history of defiance in many quarters in your life: 1-The problem of color. 2-The problem of poverty of his childhood. 3-The problem of their contact with the authorities about their refusal to enter the army at the time of Vitnam war. 4-American authority's decision to reject the call of Ali as a hero of the world in the international champion in boxing. 5-His fighting spirit to return to boxing after the court's decision to return the title of the clay to be the world champion in boxing. Will Smith got this role he has done an analysis to the nature of clay in different situations because of its rich character. Jamie Fox played the role of friend to the Jewish clay and his coach who helped champion of the clay vessels in the world, made an increased role for this joke of his spirit and fun that is the basis of nomaited him in the role of the great jazz and pop singer (Ray Charles). The master scene in this film was the interview of clay with many journalists after his refusment to enter the Vaitnam army in the war. I see that the default point that the film does not, does not appear in the film the beginning of life on clay as the first champion who played in the Olympic champion in Rome in 1960 as a hobby in the heavyweight and won the gold medal that is the basis of being a champion ship in his life. |

Despite the fact that he could easily agree to a sweetheart deal that would have meant an easy tour of duty for himself, Ali refuses to submit on principle to cooperate in an unjust war for a racist nation that treated his people so poorly. The cost of that stand is high as he finds himself unable to legally box in his own country while his case is contested in court. What follows is a battle for a man who would sacrifice so much for what he believes in and a comeback that would cement his legend as one of the great sports figures of all time.
