I recently finished watching Michael Moore Sicko (which is a great documentary that everyone should see). It is not about the 47 million Americans who have no health insurance, these are some of the 250 million people who have / had health insurance and, in spite of that their lives were ruined. Dissipates a lot of myths espoused by some in America such as long waiting lines, increased taxes and the doctors who are paid almost nothing. It explains why HMOs have been established and the manner in which its main purpose is to deny claims. Advancement in these companies is based on the number of complaints from an employee and denies any claims that are actually paid are seen as failures. It's going to countries such as Canada, England, France and Cuba and talks to the citizens of these countries to achieve its adoption in their country's health care system. It also goes to hospitals and emergency rooms in those countries to obtain the adoption of the people there and when they ask "How much do you pay?" All they laugh at him. Moore summed up the premise of the film when he says the rest of the Western world the practices of "We" of health care, whereas U.S. practice "I" of health care.
