| This is by far the most disgusting film I've seen. Some films are really boring seen on my list, but this is the biggest shit I could imagine. Therefore, a lot of publicity for what? - Absolutely nothing! Even had to shut it down without seeing the final. First, it might consider i funny some of his comments, but when he went to the U.S. to scare people, I was sitting and not understand where and when to laugh. I do not get it, do laugh that Americans' Borat 'or you yourself for being so stupid? |
| This film is deeper than it appears the general crowd waiting for a laugh on a Sunday. Most people will see it as a fun movie but a movie is not funny in that direction. It is a satire about how people in many parts of the world still feel about homosexuality, women's equality, the need for a women's consent to a marriage, prostitution as a profession, racism, and so on . It also shows how even some Westerners feel about religion and Jesus. The scene that can pose a serious hassle if you're too in Jesus (It is assumed that bothers you, if it really is). People who say this movie is disgusting, not just get them all! If this is disgusting, and then Charles Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" was disgusting, "because it glorified Adolf Hitler and expressed his hatred against the Jews." If you want to feel sad about how stupid, clumsy and ignorant yet many people are in the corners of the world, you should see this movie to open their eyes. But if you are too kind to understand how people live, think and get used to suffering in the backward countries, you can call "disgusting". Beware of a real open mind. |
| I am confident that I will get comments on the summary of my name to this comment, but I do not really care. This movie was funny as hell, if you want a good laugh (and you're not sick of hearing people make their own impressions of Borat) and then go rent this movie and having a good time. There are a lot of very funny parts, a couple really stupid parts, and then some parts that make you go "if this was not planned ahead of time, would never have left the jail." The reason I say that is an example of the stupidity of America, is that so many people in the film not only catch on. Once they did, however, were either angry or too confused to do anything but go along with it. The fact that some people tried to sue Fox or any of the actors / writers just baffles me. If someone is filming you (whatever that is) and make a comment Dumbass, that deserve to be exposed to the dipcrap you are. Sue only draws more attention than a silly ass. I laughed, I laughed harder, and I was paid out slightly. Overall a very good time, just remember, some of which is only funny because so many people are so stupid. |
| I can not believe how many people like this movie. It seems to me, like Sacha Baron Cohen just compiled a bunch of parodies Jackass, in an attempt to get real people to give answers entertaining. That's why this man is being sued. The film has the most basic premise as the motivation of Borat: traveling cross country to hunt for his Baywatch beauty, Pamela Anderson. I think I saw a lot like Britney Spears at the crossroads of film (also not good). Borat makes a fool of himself in various social situations, including dinners, meetings feminists, rodeos, church meetings, meetings of the mortgage, so I do not find their brand of humor funny. Most of their antics that cause real people to get caught and punished. SPOILER *** *** There's also a scene with Borat and his great friend Azamat ran naked through a hotel. It is perhaps the nastiest representation of the male anatomy that I have seen naked. That is not a good thing and just another reason why the ratings for this movie an abysmal 1.0. |
