| Well, I had written a huge blurb about how the grand finale of this film and how it was the end of the movie is a most important part, but I think we all understand it well enough. I'm going to talk about something else: George Kennedy's Oscar-winning role. Wow, that is awesome! I, as I suppose that many people of my generation are, I am only familiar with Kennedy through his role as captain of the police Ed Naked Gun series, which was hilarious, and his period in infomercials selling breath mints . I never expected that he never won an Oscar! And it was totally deserved. Has created a very complex character in this movie. Bravo! I loved Paul Newman, too, of course. I looked at another person who was nominated this year, and I have not seen, nor the winner of this year's Oscar best actor (Rod Steiger in In the Heat of the Night) or another candidate (Spencer Tracy in Guess who comes to dinner) But of those I have seen (Warren Beatty, Bonnie and Clyde and Dustin Hoffman, The Graduate) I personally have picked up Warren Beatty, looking like Bonnie and Clyde is one of my favorite movies, and I love Beatty in it. Anyway, Cool Hand Luke was a masterpiece in itself, and give me a 10/10 |
| There was a scene that popper out my hand in a cool Luke. It comes with relatively early arrival at the prison. While the works of the trench, his great adversary dragline is seeing a young country girl like her washing a car. While the wash the car, she presses her breasts against the window wet. The shot was short, but I've seen in so many other films. This was the first to use the vaccine. Another thing worth commenting is the guardian of the high-tone Souther accent. I have also seen portrayed in some of the goofy Naked bullet kind of films and shows. Also, the guard is known as' No Eyes'. He is wearing his glasses Sunday reflective at all times and has no lines in the film. He remains a main character for his position and be a big shot with his rifle. |
| "What we have here ... is failure to communicate!" - Hardly. Someone once said that "there is no accounting for taste." That said, shooting me in my Tuppence for this movie as the "best" ever made. If you are a deep thinker or a spongy gen-X-er, this movie offers much food for thought. In fact, it is likely to remain the best treatment of Buddhist philosophy never occurred. 'Nuff Said |
