| Jane Fonda returns to the screen playing an eccentric, Barbara Walters type of TV personality who recently lost his job to a young woman and served time in a clinic after attacking a guest on his show ... the last thing he needs is to have his "brilliant surgeon" son to his new girlfriend for tea and propose marriage to his right knee bender in front of the breast. This is the kind of comedy today, which is based on the artificial limb to make a scene to the next. Jennifer Lopez, a multi-tasking superwoman with a gay and a room permanently sunny outlook, said his horoscope aloud (a dog that walks) and marvels that "love is right before your eyes." Cue the camera to broker a handsome (with trendy facial stubble), which passes through and can not take your eyes off her! There is never a moment when Lopez delights in love with a wealthy doctor (no more dogs for a walk!) No, she wants because she remembers what color are his eyes. | At first I was not going to see this movie of Jane Fonda back and forth. Secondly, I really do not care for her anyway. This film took me by surprise. I had heard that all bits are good in the trailer. That is absolute rubbish. Charlie meets Kevin after a couple of run ins accidental, and eventually, to commit themselves. With that return funds (not Woo!). Viola is Kevins mother and has just been fired and returned to a mental institution. When the happy couple will announce their commitment Viola in the warpath to ensure that nobody takes your child away from her. This leads to a series of entertaining fights, coatings and a plain good comedy. Fonda is great as in Sykes and Lopez is so sweet and lovely as ever. People tend to laugh at his act when in reality it is only a fine actress, a very strange person. I do not want more details as I do not want to ruin the movie. To go and see. It is well worth seeing! |
| I just see this now with great hope, and after the first 20 minutes, I will not lie ... I felt a little disheartened. Is set to slow, and I was desperately praying that the best way - and it did! : D There were some very entertaining moments, quite actually, that has all the cinema laughing hysterically. Some of it was quite predictable, but not in a bad way, is very nice and very funny, especially in some of the most physical. There were some fantastic wall of the main parties. If you like original, but simple comedy extreme, then this is the film for you. Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda make a great couple, working off each other so well. And Michael Vartan is the cookie on top of a film fab! : DI recommend to anyone, unless you need more than oath, which act more and more sex to enjoy a movie. |
| Jennifer Lopez may have insisted that his name appeared well above Jane Fonda, but she is UpStage by Ms. Fonda in every scene. Makes you wonder why Jane Fonda has waited so long to do another movie .. she is excellent in this comedy and I hope this opens the door to more roles (I hope not another 15 years). This is much more a vehicle for Ms. Fonda talents that Lopez, though JLo is very good too. JLo is, after all, a good actress, although his true personality is far from the 'nice' roles (and thus often do not ring true). Of course, some in the audience lampoon something Jane Fonda is because they never forgive him for opposing the Vietnam War .. time to move on? In general I went into the theater expecting slightly funny, but I found myself in the middle of a laugh out loud comedy classic, and as you can probably tell, most impressed by Jane Fonda's performance:) |

| MONSTER-IN-LAW, in my opinion, this is a good romantic comedy that will make you laugh, smile and feel good from start to finish. If you ask me, the way that Kevin (Michael Vartan) and Charlie (Jennifer Lopez) met is absolutely romantic. Besides, for me, Viola (Jane Fonda) is an absolute b ****! The reason I said it was because I could not handle Kevin is engaged to Charlie. However, when Charlie slapped her, I was surprised. Now, in conclusion, I recommend this good romantic comedy that will make you laugh and feel good any Jennifer Lopez, Jane Fonda, Michael Vartan or fan who has not seen. You're in for lots of laughter, to go to the video store, rent or buy, kick back with a friend, and see that. |
